What kind of industry relevant software that Nanyang Polytechnic has taught me during my course

Silicon labs IDE

Using this software, we utilized the 8051 platform to control a simple 8 Bit microcontroller to learn about the C programming language and how does a simple microcontroller listen to instructions via it's communication channels or ports.

FPWIN GR7

A simple software that teaches us about pneumatics and about block programming, which end goal is to ensure that we are equipped with the knowledge of how valves intake air pressure to stimulate movement.

Autodesk Inventor

The beginner's bread and butter in regards to 3D design and assemblies, we have been extensively taught for this software, from construction to blueprinting, there is not a single thing I, as a Nanyang polytechnic student not know about this software.

Tinkercad

Using this software, we have been taught circuit design, which has allowed us to gain a fundamental understanding into circuitry, while also being taught how to use this software to create digital prototypes for easy visualization of our works.
